Below are the guidelines for using the Jobs & Career channel.

1. Channel Purpose

• This channel is dedicated to all job and career-related topics, including Resume/Cover Letter, Interview Preparation, Career Development, Skills & Trades, Industry Information, Working Holiday Job Posts, Skilled/Unskilled Jobs, Salary & Work Conditions, Workplace Culture, and other employment-related subjects.

• The goal is to foster a community where members share job opportunities, career advice, workplace experiences, job-search tips, industry insights, working holiday employment information, and more — helping each other through shared knowledge.

2. Basic Principles

• Respect & Consideration: We welcome members from diverse backgrounds. Please respect others’ opinions, experiences, and situations.

• Accurate Information: Distinguish clearly between facts and personal opinions. When sharing crucial information (e.g., salary, working conditions, company info), provide sources or evidence whenever possible.

Do not post or encourage:

• Commercial advertisements, referral links, sponsorship solicitations, or profit-oriented posts without prior approval from admins

• Spam, duplicate postings, or flooding the channel

• Distribution of unverified rumors or hearsay; always strive for accuracy and evidence

• Be specific — include details like job type, years of experience, location, working hours, etc., to get helpful responses.

• Show gratitude — if someone helps you, leave a thank-you reply.

• Share follow-ups — if you acted on advice or information, share your outcome to help others.

• Share responsibly — when sharing data or stats, cite credible sources; clearly separate personal opinions from factual info.
